Once again, more photoshope nonsense. Nothing spectacular, just some stuff I had been working on for fun. Again, don't be an ass and take my stuff:

My Luke V2 Lightsaber
After that last post, I feel that I must post something constructive, and so here we go: This is my LUke ROTJ v2 Lightsaber.

Long story short, this saber was the stunt versions used in return of the Jedi. I honestly prefer this version as Luke was seen with this saber more times than with the Hero version .You can check out the full scoop on this version at Parts to Star Wars
While it is not a perfect replica of the v2, im still very happy with it Anyhow, I got the parts i needed for this saber form various sources, the main body came form e-bay. The seller custom machined the saber for me, and it was surprisingly cheap, around $67. The threaded bar I needed to put the thing together was bought at a local hardware store, the clamp came from a member of the FX-sabers.com forums, and yes it is a REAL graflex clamp, the knurled Cone and circuit board came from a member of the replica prop forum

Those who hate anime
Hey all! I know, i know, i havent posted anything since last december, and if any of you wish to throw tomatoes at me for that, then feel free...as a matter of fact, I think i deserve it hehehe. Anyhoo, I finished with my homework early, and wandered about on the internet, low and behold, i find a post on Danny Choo's site about anime haters, which inspired this post.
Simply put, I'm an Otaku....people call us Otaku nerds, immature, stupid, etc, but hey, lets compare states here, i graduated 9th in my class in high school with an International Baccalaureate diploma, by no means a small scholastic achievement. I currently go to school at cal-poly pomona with a 3.56 GPA, am holding a steady job that pays for my car, gas, insurance, and daily living expenses, not to mention holding a steady relationship with a wonderful woman (yes she is real). While these do not sum me up as a person, I'm not one to brag but with these facts in mind, I don't believe that being an Otaku makes me stupid and immature.
Lets examine Danny Choo for a bit, Otaku: yes, business owner; HELL YEAH. How's that for stupid and immature? Now lets examine these anime haters who post vids on youtube and host anime hating petitions, can any of them make such a boast? I belive one would be hard pressed to find an anime hater who is successful in the professional world on one of these sites..why? Simply because intelligent folk who do not like anime and live meaningfull/successful lives have better things to do than spam Otaku (hence the lack of intelligent arguments against anime/Otaku).
While this post may seem a spite against anime-haters, its not. I have no ill feelings against people who do not like anime. My beef is against those self Righteous mooks who feel that they are better simply on account that they have a different opinion from others (i.e. I'm "normal, hence I'm better than those nerds/freaks over there).

ok, so i have received numerous complaints that my list is a tad to expensive, so here I will post items that i WANT and are in the 25 dollar or less range, some of wich are in the list below
1) Covertec Belt Clip
2) A large death note
3) Godzilla: King of the Monsters DVD collectors edition
4)Neon Genesis Evangelion: Angelic Days manga vol. 6
5) Clerks Inaction Jay and Silent bob figures
6) books on graphic design (very non specific i know)
7) Japanese cook books (again, very non specific...these can be found at borders...duh)
8)1/144 HG Gundam Exia (this can be found at frank and son's. simply print, and show to vendors who sell gundams (try the back of the 2nd Isle form the left *HINT*
9)1/100 Legend Gundam (same hint as above item)
10) Action Base/Stand (Yet again, same hint as above kits)
11) Revoltech Saber (Frank and Son's is your best bet for this one. the large booth in the back of the 2nd to the last isle on the RIGHT)
12) Triple Zero Paintbrush....yes...a pain brush...do i seriously even need to link this last one?
13) A wicket Figure...yes...Wicket the ewok form star wars..it does not have to be the exact one linked here, but it does have to be wicket...not some random ewok
P.S. people have often told me that they are worried about getting me a gundam that i dont want or already have....here is a good rule of thumb....anything 1/100 scale form the Master Grade Series is good by me. I dont mind having doubles. It just gives me another change to re-build a kit with new techniques/ideas for modifications
now, here is a list of things NOT TO GET ME/I DO NOT NEED!
Godzilla DVD's (except the one listed above of course)
Stuffed turtles
Stuffed Sheep
Plushies in general for that matter unless i have specified a plushie i actually want (very very very unlikely)
